About the club:
"Fasterholt Hanggliding & Paragliding Center" is a traditional hang gliding and paragliding club run by and for its members. Flying courses and training are carried out on a voluntary basis by certified instructors using gliders owned by the club.
Please note that "Fasterholt Hanggliding & Paragliding Center" is not a commercial operation. The tow field is manned every holliday and weekend from April through September. During the flying season every club member has to be "on duty" two individual days driving the tow vehicles and act as watchman etc. so other club members can fly. We welcome all pilots - both hang gliders and paragliders - from other clubs and/or countries to come visit us and fly.
The launch method is static line towing using purpose-built Toyota 4x4 jeeps. The airfield is 1200 meters long. During tow hang glider pilots have the choice of foot launching or using a tow trolley.
Some paraglider pilots prefer winch towing which our club cannot provide. However, our experienced club members also perform safe and reliable tows of paragliders using cars.
Fees:- Each launch is 40 DKK (Approx. 5.3 €) with no additional fees.
Accomodation:We invite visitors to stay overnight though keep in mind that this is a flying club - not a commercial operation.
